2026 is off to an exciting start at Tim Hortons with popular new products like our Custard Tarts, Pecan Butter Tarts, and the return of a beloved classic, the Oatmeal Raisin Cookie.
Today, we’re excited to share some more big news.
Canadians love Rolling Up The Rim and missed it while it was gone for a few years. When we brought it back last spring, the response was incredible and we were reminded how important this iconic Tims tradition is for our guests. So, we’re thrilled to share that Rolling Up The Rim of our cups is coming back – starting on Feb. 23 – and will continue to be a key part of future Roll Up To Win contests!
Here are five other priorities for this year that we’re focusing on to serve Canadians better:
Food and beverage innovation
We’ve been on a journey to improve the quality of everything we serve, including launching freshly cracked 100% Canadian eggs for our breakfasts back in 2021, improving our most popular donuts by adding more apples to our Apple Fritter and more filling to the Boston Cream, investing in equipment and technology to optimize our coffee brewing, and having an amazing innovation team that is constantly thinking up delicious new ideas to serve guests.
We’re really proud of all the product innovation we launched at Tims last year and there are a lot of exciting food and menu items set to roll out in 2026. We upped our game in the morning last year by introducing scrambled eggs made with freshly cracked eggs. Our Supreme Stack for lunch and dinner delivered on our mission to introduce more craveable, hearty meal options in the afternoon and evening. And on the beverage side, guests loved our new Protein Lattes, Chai Lattes and Frozen Quenchers.
Along with our newly released baked goods, we have lots of exciting additions coming to the menu throughout the year – especially several exciting collaborations that we know our guests will love – including a new product co-created with Ryan Reynolds.
More value through digital and using Tims Rewards to celebrate special moments
Millions of Canadians use Tims Rewards every week – and if you’re not already one of our over 7 million active members, you should download the Tims app to start receiving valuable personalized offers to save money, and to collect Tims Rewards points to redeem for your favourite menu items.
As a brand rooted in sports, we also love to use Tims Rewards to bring Canadians together to celebrate major moments. Last year we had great offers to celebrate wins during the 4 Nations Face-Off™ and championship runs by the Toronto Blue Jays and Edmonton Oilers. And through our new partnership with the Canadian Olympic Committee, we’re sharing offers whenever Team Canada wins a gold medal at the Olympics.
Working hard to make every visit to Tims better
We’re proud to be a part of so many Canadians’ daily routines and for our restaurants to be a home away from home for guests. We serve millions of Canadians every day and truly believe that every single visit matters. If we fall short of a guest’s expectations, it’s our goal to make it right and to learn. We’re continually investing in better training resources for restaurant owners and their teams, including organizing manager symposiums across the country where we share the best examples of driving excellence in serving our guests. We closely track guest satisfaction and we’re proud that guest feedback reached record positive levels at the end of last year. We always strive to be better and our work to improve our guest experience is never done.
Making important investments to better serve our guests
We partner with Tims restaurant owners to make strategic investments that help improve our guest experience and menu innovation. Guests may have already seen some of our new digital kiosks that have been installed in over 800 restaurants, with more to come, as well as upgraded espresso and fountain beverage machines which continue to roll out to more locations. We renovated almost 300 restaurants last year and expect to update about 400 more in 2026. We’re also excited about our plans to open dozens of all new Tims locations across Canada in 2026 and grow our footprint to be even closer to where Canadians live and work.
Driving record-breaking charitable impact
Supporting the communities we serve will always be at the heart of the Tims brand. Thanks to the generosity of Canadians and our restaurant owners and their teams, Tims charitable campaigns raised over $50 million in 2025, and we set new records for Smile Cookie, Special Olympics Donut and Holiday Smile Cookie. Through Timbits Sports, we continue to support over 300,000 kids across Canada as they learn and play the sports they love. Our Tim Hortons Foundation is taking the best of our summer camp program into schools across Canada and this year, will serve a record 26,000 youth through our camp and school programs. We’re also excited that this year we are increasing our investment in the Tim Hortons Scholarship Program to $500,000 to help support post-secondary education for team members and the children or grandchildren of team members.
We are honoured to be your first stop in the morning and to have your coffee ready to fuel your day, to be your favourite break during your family roadtrips, and the community meeting place where friends love to gather.
We are thankful for all your support over the years and we look forward to see you again soon.
